To improve health care quality for all NH children through the use of systems and measurement-based quality improvement processes.
Developmental Screening Learning Collaborative
We heard you! We have shortened the Developmental Screening Learning Collaborative timeframe to accommodate more practices. The program is now 6 months in duration with only one in-person learning session.
The NH Pediatric Improvement Partnership (NHPIP) and the Citizens Health Initiative (Initiative) were awarded a grant to implement a developmental screening quality improvement learning collaborative in NH. The learning collaborative will support up to 5 practices in implementing a standardized screening tool (Ages and Stages Questionnaire (ASQ)) at the 9, 18, and 30 month well-child visits, as recommended by the American Academy of Pediatrics. This project combines the developmental screening pilot work of the NHPIP with the Initiative learning network’s reach to primary care practices across NH.
The Initiative and NHPIP are currently accepting applications for participation in the developmental screening quality improvement learning collaborative. There is no charge to practices to participate in the learning collaborative.
Funding for the collaborative was provided by the Fund for Tomorrow: Youth and Children in New Hampshire of the New Hampshire Charitable Foundation.
