Kimberly Persson

Kimberly Persson, MSW, is a Project Director at the Institute for Health Policy and Practice. Kim’s work focuses in the areas of Public Health and Promotion and Delivery System and Payment Reform. She manages operations for Healthy UNH, guides the work of Healthy UNH’s Campus Partners through UNH’s commitment to the Partnership for a Healthier America’s Healthier Campus Initiative, oversees Healthy UNH’s internship program, and supports the University population with education relating to healthcare consumerism. Kim also provides project management to the NH Purchasers Group on Health, a Coalition of public purchasers working to improve quality, support efficient, effective health care, and share best practices on areas of benefits, wellness, and contracts.
Kim joined the Institute in September 2006, as a Research Associate, as part of a collaborative study with Columbia University’s Mailman School of Public Health, to examine the effects of arsenic on the intellectual development of children.
Prior to joining IHPP, Kim spent several years working in the field of children’s mental health.
