1. Improve access to oral health care by expanding the dental team with the introduction of a dental hygienist practitioner (akin to NP in medical field)
2. Supporting water fluoridation in NH (testified against ban of it)
3. Promote awareness about importance of oral health and support policies that will improve oral health care (i.e. Medicaid innovations), MDs applying fluoride varnish, school-based sealant programs
Community setting
Led to the creation of a study commission charged with examining oral health care needs of NH residents and barriers to accessing those services. Project is ongoing.
